Blind Channel Resort is a unique and convenient destination for coastal mariners. We’re located three nautical miles off Johnstone Strait and just one nautical mile from Cordero Channel, so any mariners traveling up or down the coast will pass right by. Whether you are just passing through or planning to stay for a while, we have all your needs covered.

Marina

The marina at Blind Channel offers 2000 feet of sturdy dock space. This includes seven widely-spaced 80 foot fingers, an aircraft dock, and a fuel dock. Clear UV-treated spring water is available from hose bibs along the docks and 15, 30 and 50 Amp power is available 24 hours a day. Our helpful and professional dock attendants are standing by on VHF channel 66a. Give us a call as you approach, and we'll be ready to assist.
We recommend advance reservations during July and August, but of course we will always do our best to find a spot for anyone who shows up.

Fuel Dock

Marine fuel is available at Blind Channel. We carry marine marked diesel, mid-grade gas and oils. We also fill propane cylinders.
Our fuel is delivered by barge, and is stored in tanks on shore.
Fuel docks are few and far between on this part of the coast, so careful planning is essential.

Pure Spring Water

Pure, clean spring water is available all along the docks as well as on the fuel dock. No chemicals are added, but the water is UV treated to meet Health Canada’s requirements.

Lagoon Cove Marina has new owners for 2017! We were excited to meet many of you last summer and are looking forward to welcoming new and returning boaters this year. Check back here often as our new website is on its way!

Stop by and enjoy our beautiful setting on the north end of E. Cracroft Island, just south of Minstrel Island. We offer a range of unique services and amenities from boat sitting and internet access to fishing tackle and gifts in our Edgewater Emporium. And if you or your crew need a stretch, we have walking trails and a Pet Path.

Happy Hour Appetizer Potlucks happen almost daily. You’ll find us, and usually a group of other cruisers, in the historic workshop just above the marina. With luck, Bring an appetizer to share and make new friends. Some evenings we have a campfire where tall stories are told, marshmallows are roasted, and someone brings a guitar to lead the group in song. If you have a musical instrument, bring yours and share in the fun. We look forward to seeing you!

For those adventurers among you unfamiliar with the Broughton cruising experience, we encourage you to not limit your exploration to just Jennis Bay, but to visit and experience the entire community of marinas, bays and inlets in the area. You may have known us as “Jennis Bay Extreme Expeditions, Ltd.” and by other Jennis Bay names over the years. All of those names and the excitement and warmth still applies. Although the beautiful Jennis Bay still maintains a couple of extreme aspects, most of it is as soft and loving as a new born deer, a sight occasionally seen by visitors. The ‘Extreme’ part is mainly how far people go to get here. By boat, floatplane, helicopter and even a jet. People come from around the world to visit this British Columbia wonderland. ‘Extreme’ is also how seriously we take our company mission. We endeavor to offer our guests the utmost degree of enjoyment with regards to both experiences and memories.
Experiences and memories. These come in many forms. For some, it’s finding a serene and quite place to get away from the pace of a developing modern civilization, perhaps just experiencing a day in the shoes of a modern day trekker. For others, enjoyment takes on a more extreme form. The fun fueled physical challenge of being a modern day logger or maybe a trail runner. How about a mountain biker or kayaker? If you find yourself exploring, there are chances you’ll find treasures and mysterious wrecks. We sometimes even hide a treasure cache marked by GPS for you to find.
